The EyeSens OCR Reader system (with integrated lens & illumination) allows the user to verify various text characters.

The included command set contains all OCR commands of the EyeVision software such as e.g.:

The system recognizes even hard-to-read characters such as dot-peen or dotted characters.

Pattern Matching with EyeSens Match

The EyeSens Match vision sensor is equipped with the KeyMatch tool for contour correlation. This command detects component parts on the basis of characteristic features. It recognizes the features and then compares them with the characteristics, which the user has defined in advance. Therefore it is possible to configure a component part and then find it again in any position or alignment and also determine if the parts are in accordance with the original part.
