EyeLight Coaxial Illumination
Coaxial illuminators produce a homogeneous light which extends perpendicularly over the entire field of
view to the camera axis and allows axial illumination systems. A semi-transparent mirror directs the
light from the laterally arranged LEDs on the optical axis of the lens, thus producing a very uniform
and shadow-free illumination. Defective surfaces are displayed dark.
Coaxial illumination is used for objects with a flat surface structure and a highly reflective or mirroring surface,
e.g. For alignment marks, printing control of data codes, etc.
EyeLight CASC co-axial lightProduct no.: EL-CASC-00-025-X-XCASC series provide co-axial illumination for high magnification tele-centric lenses. The lights are reflected by right angle prism cube beam solitter to provide light in line with the camera.
